One very lucky man in New jersey has managed to aquire himself a fascinating piece of fleet history without even knowing it!  Zenop Tuncer the owner of a vehicle repair shop was searching for 540K model for his friend and real estate developer Fred Daibes when he stumbled across this 1942 Mercedes 320 Cabriolet D. But he had no idea this was formally owned by one of the most well known villain’s in history – Mr Adolf Hitler himself!

The unknown fleet vehicle had belonged to an Ohio collector before Mr Tuncer purchased it who was also unaware of the car’s history despite knowing that the car had come over to the US with his grandfather from the war. Zenop Tuncar has decided it best to leave the car in its original state and we agree that this is a wise idea and very jealous of this lucky purchase. It just shows what you can stumble across if you’re in the right place at the right time on the internet these days, who know’s what uncovered historic beauties are still out there?
