Two different car festivals
Did Goodwood Festival of Speed get you in the mood for car festivals? Whether attending them or reading about them, there is always something exciting and interesting going on around the country for those who love cars and speed. These are just two of the car festivals coming up that caught our eye – both totally different, but both with something for car lovers.
Car Fest South
Car Fest North was on the first weekend of August, featuring great cars and musical performances from Texas, Jools Holland, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The Children in Need fundraiser, which allows DJ Chris Evans to share his love of cars and music, moves south for the weekend of 22-24 August. The sell-out event definitely has lots to keep petrol heads and their families interested – from hill climbs to a kids’ driving school.
There are so many cars at Car Fest South that we don’t know where to start! The Dream Bears 7 features the following dream cars.

What a great line up! Music fans of Chris Evans’s show will also enjoy the music performances from Erasure, The Feeling, and Eliza Doolittle, with many more acts filling out the bill.
Salon Privé London
If you are looking for elegance and a place to be seen, then the Salon Privé is the place to be. More of a car event than one of the car festivals, you’ll be able to take in the British Supercar Show and the Concours d’Elégance. The British Supercar Show highlights the very best of car manufacturing.
“Alongside the well-known super and luxury car brands, such as Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati and Rolls-Royce, are the coachbuilders and low volume, niche manufacturers such as Lister, Noble, Overfinch, Spyker, Startech and Tesla.”
Lovers of classic cars will definitely enjoy the Concours d’Elégance with beautiful classic cars and bikes from around the world.
