Who’s In The Driver’s Seat?
We asked for volunteers in the automotive industry or those with responsibility for their company vehicle fleet to be quizzed for In The Driver’s Seat by Run Your Fleet. We are delighted to welcome our first volunteer, Angela Dronsfield.

How long have you been with the company?
I worked for pocket money every Saturday when I was a kid, not to mention the time spent over the school holidays! I officially joined full-time when I was 18 (20 years ago!).
What’s your potted history? How did you get into the auto industry & why?
Dronsfields is a family-run business, hence the name! My father started the company and it’s always been a huge part of my life; every member of the family works for the business in some capacity.
Tell us all about your first car.
It was a Fiesta XR2. I thought I was the bee’s knees when I got this car!
What are you driving just now?
Dream car time – what would you drive?
The Mercedes SL Pergoda is just absolute perfection.
What’s your favourite car chase scene?
I know you probably get this a lot, but it’s got to be The Italian Job, hasn’t it? The original film with Michael Caine, obviously.
(We do get this a lot, but when it’s as good as this we don’t care!)
